Job summary

ETAP Software in Kraków, Poland, is looking for a Test Automation Software Developer (junior) to join a dev-sec-test-ops team and shape quality processes across the product lifecycle.

You will write and maintain manual and automated tests, build environment scripts, and collaborate with developers, infra and security to ensure a robust testing pipeline and high-quality customer experiences.

The job

We are currently seeking a Test Automation Software Developer to join our growing team. This is a very critical role in our product development process. The Test Automation Developer writes and maintains manual scenarios, code of automatic tests as well as manage automation processes, functional tests pipelines, cooperate with software developers and infra team as part of dev-sec-test-ops team. The Test Automation Software Developer will shape quality processes and has significant influence on the final product customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain functional manual and automatic tests
• Create and maintain environment set-up scripts and other tools
• Manage and improve functional tests pipeline
• Cooperate with developers, infra and security as part of dev-sec-test-ops team
• Shape quality processes
• Actively participate and support scrum team

Requirements

• General programming knowledge (theoretical knowledge, understand of concepts, junior practical knowledge)
• General knowledge regarding software testing
• Practical knowledge related to one of the script languages (JavaScript, Python, Visual Basic, PowerShell)
• Junior knowledge regarding PowerShell
• Fluent regarding using GitHub
• Sufficient English communication level (speaking, reading, writing)
• Knowledge regarding Test Complete, Selenium, Postman is a plus
