Job summary

ETAP Software in Kraków is seeking an Automatic Tests Developer Junior to join our growing team. This role writes and maintains manual and automatic tests, develops environment setup scripts, and helps manage the functional test pipelines within the dev-sec-test-ops group.

You will collaborate with software developers and the infra team to shape quality processes and influence the final product customer experience. A strong emphasis on Agile/Scrum and proactive participation is expected.

Qualifications

• General programming knowledge and testing concepts.
• Experience with one scripting language (JS, Python, VB, PS) desirable.
• Familiarity with GitHub and English communication.

• Create and maintain functional manual and automatic tests.
• Create and maintain environment set-up scripts and other tools.
• Manage and improve functional tests pipeline.

The job

We are currently seeking an Automatic Tests Developer to join our growing team. This is a very critical role in our product development process. The Automatic Tests Developer writes and maintains manual scenarios, code of automatic tests as well as manage automation processes, functional tests pipelines, cooperate with software developers and infra team as part of dev-sec-test-ops team. The Automatic Tests Developer will shape quality processes and has significant influence on the final product customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain functional manual and automatic tests
• Create and maintain environment set-up scripts and other tools
• Manage and improve functional tests pipeline
• Cooperate with developers, infra and security as part of dev-sec-test-ops team
• Shape quality processes
• Actively participate and support scrum team

Essential Requirements

• General programming knowledge (theoretical knowledge, understand of concepts, junior practical knowledge)
• General knowledge regarding software testing
• Practical knowledge related to one of the script languages (JavaScript, Python, Visual Basic, PowerShell)
• Junior knowledge regarding PowerShell
• Fluent regarding using GitHub
• Sufficient English communication level (speaking, reading, writing)
• Knowledge regarding Test Complete, Selenium, Postman is a plus
