Job summary

ETAP Software in Kraków is seeking a Castomisation Specialist Junior to join our Data Factory team for CAD/CAE environments. You will create technical and commercial data and product symbols, aligning with IGE+XAO standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Master of Science in electrical engineering or a related field, with knowledge of CAD/CAE tools, MS Office, and English for technical documentation. You will help develop standards, libraries, and data exports, contributing to our digital twin

The job

We are looking for electrical/automation engineer to join our Data Factory team for CAD/CAE environments. Responsibilities include creating technical and commercial data and creating product-specific symbols, including analysis of electrical and mechanical properties. This includes processing product information in accordance with the manufacturer's documentation for integration with SEE software.

Key Responsibilities

• Entering manufacturers' catalog data according to the IGE+XAO standard
• Development, configuration and maintenance of CAD/CAE design environments used in the design software of electrical installations and automation systems.
• Creating specific electrical symbols and developing component libraries, macros, templates and design standards.
• Testing and verification of the correctness of data and electrical symbols
• External data exports to IGE+XAO online catalogs
• Participation in the development of design standards, procedures and technical documentation.
• Analysis of project needs and implementation of improvements in the team's work environment.

Essential Requirements

• Higher technical education (Master of Science in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics or related).
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of English at a level enabling work with technical documentation.
• Ability to think analytically and solve technical problems.
• Possibility of full-time work
• Teamwork skills

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of standards and design issues for the electrical industry and standardization
• Knowledge of the principles of designing electrical installations, control diagrams and technical documentation.
• Knowledge and experience in working with CAD/CAE tools used in the design of electrical installations or automation systems.
• Experience in administering or configuring CAD/CAE environments (e.g. managing libraries, standards, databases).
• Knowledge of design process automation (e.g. scripts, macros).
• Basic knowledge of programming (e.g. SQL, VBA).
• Knowledge of products from electrical engineering, automation, and mechatronics segments
