Job summary

Ryvu Therapeutics in Kraków is seeking a motivated biologist or biotechnologist to work with primary biological material, establish and maintain cell cultures, and conduct cell-based experiments. Job description

We are looking for a motivated, team-oriented biologist or biotechnologist to work with primary biological material, establish and maintain cell cultures, and conduct cell-based experiments. Working closely with experienced scientists, you will strengthen your technical expertise and gradually take greater ownership of experimental activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Establishment, maintenance, and routine handling of primary cell cultures and other mammalian cell models
• Working with primary biological material, including sample processing, cell isolation, culture establishment, and preparation for downstream experiments
• Planning and conducting cell-based and molecular biology experiments using established methodologies, with increasing independence as your experience develops
• Analyzing and interpreting experimental data, drawing scientific conclusions, and effectively communicating results, progress, and technical challenges within the team
• Reviewing scientific literature to support experimental work and data

YOUR BACKGROUND

• MSc in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field with up to 2 years of experience in academia or industry
• Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, including routine culture maintenance and preparation of cells for experiments
• Experience in working with primary biological material and/or primary cell cultures is highly desirable
• Familiarity with cell-based and molecular biology techniques, such as RNAi/CRISPR, viability assays, Western blot, qPCR, ELISA, or flow cytometry, would be an advantage
• Basic experience in experimental data analysis; familiarity with GraphPad Prism, Excel, or FlowJo is a plus
• Analytical/critical thinking skills and ability to search specialized literature
• Willingness to learn and explore new laboratory methods
• Good command of written and spoken English
