Job summary

Standard Chartered in Warsaw is seeking a diligent professional to support account opening, maintenance and closure processes for corporate clients. You will ensure timely setups across systems, conduct quality checks, and support onboarding activities.

The role emphasizes compliance, data accuracy, and close collaboration with KYC/CDD teams, with opportunities to improve processes and automation. Fluent English is required to effectively interact with stakeholders.

Job description

Account Opening, Maintenance and Closure

• Manage client account opening and channel activation activities, ensuring timely and accurate setup across systems and teams.
• Support corporate and business banking clients with account onboarding, digital channel access, training, and related service requests.
• Perform quality checks on documentation, system setups, and process outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage Euro Link account opening and remediation activities from request through successful account activation.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards, escalating issues where required.
• Support German regulatory reporting under 24c KWG by ensuring accurate client data capture, system maintenance, and reporting through Netcetera and Axiom.

Client Due Diligence Checking

• Performing checking activities across the Client Management processes and ensuring that client onboarding activities such as timely completion of Client Due Diligence (CDD), Credit documentation, arrange processing of various channels and related products and services setup requests are performed on a timely basis and first time right
• Work closely with the makers and checkers to improve overall quality of KYC related cases
• Delivering excellent service against agreed service standards, delivery standards, and minimal error rates as appropriate

General

• Providing insight and suggestions to improving processes, identifying opportunities to streamline and automate
• Own and drive execution of processes, working closely with stakeholders and the value chain to deliver excellent client service, getting clients to the point of ready-to-transact as quickly as possible, across both simple and complex cases.
• Ensure alignment between CCIB business and Client Management with regular engagement regarding business priorities, issues, and address any gaps
• Drive continuous improvement of the operational efficiency and effectiveness of processes to increase the consistency of systems and processes
