A leading educational institution in Opole is seeking an assistant professor in mechanical engineering. The role requires teaching, conducting research, and contributing to departmental organization. The person selected through the competition will be employed at the Department of Mechanics and Machine Design as an assistant professor, in the group of research and teaching staff. His/her activities will cover three areas:
Teaching - conducting classes such as exercises, projects, laboratory for selected subjects, mainly in the fields of mechanical engineering, mechatronics and industrial design, including classes conducted in English and as part-time studies. The obligatory classes: 240 didactic hours per academic year.
Science - active involvement in research work carried out by current employees of the Department and participation in publishing the results of this research in materials scored primarily in the discipline of mechanical engineering. Active participation in activities aimed at obtaining additional funds for science, i.e. writing applications for external research projects or cooperation with industry.
Organization - co-implementation of tasks related to ensuring the proper functioning of the Department and Faculty and participation in activities promoting fields of study and popularizing knowledge.
