Job summary

Takeda is seeking an Assistant Controller - Manager to support Controllers in ensuring the completeness, integrity and compliance of financial records while maintaining a strong internal control environment across assigned entities.

You will act as the operational bridge between assigned markets and Global Finance CoE accounting teams, coordinating financial close activities and preparing balance sheet reviews, IFRS and local GAAP reporting.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum three years in controllership, accounting, GL or R2R.
• Fluent English at business level.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities with timely, complete general ledger accounting.
• Prepare balance sheet reviews and variance analysis for Controllers and CoE.
• Support IFRS and local GAAP financial statements and audit requests.
• Act as liaison between markets and Global Finance CoE accounting teams.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal control requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and drive efficiency.
