Job summary

Opole University of Technology Centre for Mathematics Education and Applications in Opole, Poland, invites applications for a First Stage Researcher (R1) position in the Centre for Mathematics Education and Applications. The role focuses on teaching activities, research in technical computer science and telecommunications, and organisational tasks to support teaching and data analysis.

Position is full-time (40 hours per week) with a temporary contract.

Responsibilities

• a) conducting teaching activities;
• b) conducting research in the field of Technical computer science and telecommunications or another related discipline assessed at the Opole University of Technology;
• c) carrying out organisational activities, including: cooperating with faculties to improve teaching practices; carrying out tasks for the faculties and other organisational units of the University in the field of data analysis and other applications of mathematics; organising courses to enhance the skills of staff at the Opole University of Technology in the areas of data analysis and the applications of mathematics; organising remedial maths courses for students.
