Job summary

Opole University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatic Control and Computer Science, invites applications for a First Stage Researcher position. The role covers research and teaching in automation, electronics, electrical engineering, and space technologies in line with Polish law.

Offer Description

The competition is open to individuals intending to undertake research and teaching activities in the scientific disciplines of automation, electronics, electrical engineering, and space technologies, meeting the requirements specified in the Act of July 20, 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended) and the Statute of the Opole University of Technology. Candidates must have:

• completed first-cycle, second-cycle, or long-cycle master's studies in automation and robotics;
• fundamentals of analog and digital electronic systems,
• automation and robotics,
• PLC programming in at least two languagesin accordance with the IEC 61131-3 standard,
• fundamentals of PLC implementation in industrial networks,
• programming in C/C++, Python, and assembly language for at least one 32-bit microcontroller,
• fundamentals of signal processor programming,
• programming in the Matlab environment,
• signal theory and digital signal processing, including statistical and spectral analysis,
• soldering and diagnostic techniques for SMD and THT circuits,
• using workshop tools for building/servicing electronic circuits,
• reading technical documentation.
