## For additional information, please review .The Voluntary Corporate Actions team (VCA) receive, process and forward elections on voluntary corporate action events from a range of Citi’s clients.The team is responsible for accurately interpreting and setting up events based on information received from numerous Custodians.To do this the team actively cooperates with other teams within Citi from different geographic locations to provide one standard service to the client.• Create a golden record of a voluntary corporate action event within the business system XSP; • Review and process the elections as made by clients based on the golden record; • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between the Citi records and the Custodian positions; • Cooperate with internal and external clients as well as with other teams involved in Middle Office and Fund Accounting processes. **Responsibilities:**• Acting as an example to other team members, creating an ethical and motivated team environment; • Adhere to all Departmental Procedures and Controls; • Assist in the on-boarding of new clients or client accounts; • Assist with team/dept projects; • Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing on enhancements to systems and regression testing; • Ensure all client queries are responded to within 24hrs of receipt; • Ensure all event file checklists are completed on time; • Ensure all event notifications/updates are reviewed within 24hrs of receipt (where response deadline is within 1 month); • Ensure DCFC tasks are completed on a daily basis; • Ensure monitoring of Global Inbox, covering other regions when required and cleared before EOD; • Ensure the timely resolution of all stock exceptions following reconciliation; • Escalate processing errors and potential risks to line manager upon discovery; • Identifying areas of risk and implementing further Controls where necessary; • Monitor and action all daily diary messages; • Monitor and action all Queue’s; • Participate in and host team Huddles; • Participate in bi weekly client call; • Participate in Contingency testing; • Prepare relevant test scripts and participate in Contingency testing; • Proactively provide support to other Processors on the team and across the department; • Regular review and update of Procedures for the team; • The accurate and timely processing of all events assigned; • Where relevant provide detail of exceptions and resolution date to Team Leader.**Qualifications:*** Relevant experience preferred* Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies* Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment* Demonstrated knowledge of macros* Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills**Education:*** Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or FinanceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
