Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Analyst for the Asset Class Control team to ensure accuracy of Balance Sheet and P&L for the asset class: Derivatives, Collateral, Reporting.

You will perform controls, reconciliations and contribute to month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, working with global teams and partners to strengthen governance and reporting integrity across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or numerical field.
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Banking, Accounting or other Finance function.
• Good understanding of General Ledger accounting concepts (Balance Sheet, P&L).
• Excellent command of business English and communication skills (written and spoken).
• Self-driven attitude with good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to critically challenge with the goal of identifying control issues.
• Comfort liaising with business and partners while building and maintaining strong working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with other corporate functions e.g. Product Control, Financial Control, Operations and Reporting
• Partner with asset class control teams globally
• Manage the consolidation of JPMorgan Chase financial data at month-end for their asset class, including the ability to support month end, quarter end, and year end activities
• Control post-closing entries and consolidation adjustments
• Identify process and/or infrastructure enhancements and work with stakeholders to enact change
• Mobilize change wherever possible in order to simplify processes and enhance controls

As a Senior Analyst in the Asset Class Control team, you will perform many controls, checks, analysis, and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of our financial statements.
