Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Warsaw seeks a Senior Analyst to join the Asset Class Control team, performing controls, checks, analyses and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of our financial statements across derivatives, collateral and reporting.

You will partner with Product Control, Financial Control and Operations, support month-end, quarter-end and year-end activities, and help drive governance and improvements in our reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or within other numerical field.
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Banking, Accounting or other Finance function.
• Good understanding of General Ledger accounting concepts (Balance Sheet, P&L).
• Excellent command of business English and communication skills (both written and spoken).
• Self-driven attitude with good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to critically challenge with the goal of identifying control issues.
• Comfort liaising with business and partners while building and maintaining strong working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for correctness, integrity and substantiation of Balance Sheet and P&L accounts for your asset class: Derivatives, Collateral, Reporting
• Work closely with other corporate functions e.g. Product Control, Financial Control, Operations and Reporting
• Partner with asset class control teams globally
• Manage theconsolidation of JPMorgan Chase financial data at month-end for their asset class, including the ability to support month end, quarter end, and year end activities
• Control post-closing entries and consolidation adjustments
• Identify process and/or infrastructure enhancements and work with stakeholders to enact change
• Mobilize change wherever possible in order to simplify processes and enhance controls
