Job summary

Wargaming Warsaw is seeking an Art Manager/Lead Art Owner to lead a team of Art Owners supporting World of Tanks production. You will oversee workload, coordinate with Art Direction, Production, and Design, and drive improvements in processes and delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years leading teams in game development, strong people management and communication skills, and a track record of balancing scope with capacity. Hybrid office presence in Warsaw.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading teams of at least 6 people in game development, ideally AAA.
• Strong people management, coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Experience in resource management, workload balancing, and production planning.
• Proven ability to work closely with art teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in 2D, 3D, or another relevant art discipline.
• Strong communication and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with production and art leadership on resource planning and staffing.
• Ensure clear priorities, ownership, and escalation for the Art Owner's team.
• Improve handoff, delivery flow, and coordination across the Art Owner's function.
• Identify bottlenecks, mitigate risks, ensure smooth art production delivery.
• Act as main contact for Producers, Art Directors, Project Managers, and Design.
• Strengthen stakeholder alignment, collaboration, and transparent communication.
• Review and improve Art Owner processes, workflows, and best practices.
• Drive innovation with smarter workflows, including AI-enabled tools.
• Lead a team of Art Owners.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, and manage performance via quarterly/annual reviews.
• Monitor workload and balance scope across the team.
• Coach and mentor the team in long-term skills development.
