Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Google Cloud Architect/Lead to design and lead end-to-end cloud and data architectures on Google Cloud Platform. You will collaborate with clients and delivery teams to translate business needs into secure, scalable solutions and mentor engineers through complex transformations.

The role emphasizes ownership of technical decisions, guiding teams, and advising on cloud, data, and AI topics in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Google Cloud (GCP) and data platforms.
• Knowledge of architecture patterns for data platforms, cloud-native, AI/ML.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
• Google Cloud Professional certifications (e.g. Cloud Architect, Data Engineer).
• Strong Infra as Code experience (e.g., Terraform).

Insights & Data is a dynamic team of over 400 professionals delivering cutting-edge data solutions. We specialize in Cloud & Big Data engineering, building scalable systems for complex datasets across GCP, Azure and AWS. Our expertise spans the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing modern data processing tools, advanced programming techniques, and DevOps best practices to create impactful solutions.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Google Cloud Architect / Lead, you are responsible for designing and leading end-to-end cloud and data architectures on Google Cloud Platform. You work closely with clients, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and costefficient solutions.

You define architectural standards, support presales and estimations, and mentor engineers and architects. You will have ownership of technical decisions, guide teams through complex transformations, and act as a trusted advisor for cloud, data, and AI topics.

YOUR TASKS:

• Design and govern Google Cloud architectures (data, analytics, AI, platform).
• Lead technical decisions, reviews, and architecture boards.
• Support presales, estimations, and solution shaping.
• Guide and mentor engineers and senior team members.
• Ensure security, governance, and cost efficiency on GCP.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Strong experience with Google Cloud (BigQuery, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM, Networking).
• Architecture patterns (data platforms, cloud-native, AI/ML).
• Stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
• Google Cloud Professional certifications (e.g. Cloud Architect, Data Engineer).
• Strong Infra as Code experience for example Terraform
• Strong DevOps mindset CI CD pipeline integration environment governance
