Job summary

Capgemini Polska is seeking an AI software engineer to design and build AI-augmented software using SpecKit, with a focus on prompts, testing and quality outputs.

You will integrate models into APIs and data pipelines, design RAG pipelines, and work with cloud microservices in a hybrid model. Strong Python/Java skills and experience with REST APIs and databases are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AI augmented design and development using SpecKit, prompts, testing and evaluating outputs.
• Knowledge of AI-driven architectures (MCP, AI Agents, A2A).
• Experience with Python or Java for reading generated code.
• Experience designing REST APIs and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud-based solutions (Azure/AWS/GCP) and microservices.
• Write clean code with TDD, reviews and unit testing.
• Experience with Git and Linux basics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new software features using AI-powered tools with language-agnostic approach.
• Integrate models with APIs and data pipelines.
• Design and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Develop with SpecKit, perform prompt engineering, test and evaluate AI outputs.
• Work with cloud tech (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Maintain code quality with TDD and comprehensive unit tests.
• Collaborate with Scrum Master and team to cover client needs.
• Participate in non-project activities such as assisting recruitment as an interviewer.

Your Tasks

• Design and development of new software features using AI powered tools and systems with programming language agnostic approach.
• Integrating models with APIs and data pipelines.
• Designing and implementing Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• During development using SDD (SpecKit), prompt engineering, testing and evaluating AI outputs.
• Working with Cloud technology (AWS or Azure or GCP) , microservices and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Focusing on quality standards – e.g., by using TDD, delivering good unit test coverage.
• Cooperating with the Scrum Master and the development team to assure that client’s needs are covered.
• Opportunity to take part in out-of-project activities – for e.g., supporting our recruitment processes as an interviewer, taking part in department initiatives

Your Profile

• Hands-on experience in AI augmented design and development of software using SDD (SpecKit), prompt engineering, testing and evaluating AI outputs.
• Knowledge of AI driven software architectures (MCP, AI Agents, A2A)
• Working experience with Claude Code / GitHub CoPilot
• Experience in coding using Python or Java to have ability read and understand generated code
• Experience in designing REST API interfaces and implementing RESTful services, as well as designing databases using SQL and/or NoSQL databases, e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, DynamoDB.
• Experience with microservices architecture and Cloud-based solutions (Azure or AWS or GCP).
• Ability to write clean code in accordance with modern programming standards (TDD approach, code reviews, unit testing).
• Experience with a version control system, preferably Git
• Knowledge of Linux basic concepts and console commands

Nice To Have

• Experience with data services, for example: Azure Databricks, ADF, Data Lake Storage, or the AWS / GCP counterparts.
• Any frontend technology (Angular or Vue preferred).
