Job summary

Hyva Polska Sp. z.o.o. in Kraków is seeking an AR Accountant to accurately apply customer payments to invoices in the ERP system. You will reconcile cash, resolve discrepancies, and support AR processes with attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires English fluency and a finance/accounting background, with experience in Cash Application or AR preferred. Hybrid work arrangement and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience in Cash Application, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and AR processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and cross-functional work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of an additional European language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Allocate incoming payments to customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Investigate and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements with accounting records and ERP systems.
• Analyze payment discrepancies such as short payments, overpayments, and deductions.
• Process remittance advice received via bank, email, or customer portals.
• Identify unidentified receipts and perform customer account matching.
• Collaborate with AR and AP teams to resolve allocation issues.
• Maintain accurate records of cash application activities and supporting documentation.
• Monitor and reduce unapplied cash balances.
• Support month-end closing activities related to cash posting and reconciliation.
