Job summary

Hyva is seeking an AR Accountant in Kraków to accurately apply incoming customer payments to open invoices within the ERP system. The role focuses on timely cash reconciliation, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with internal teams to improve Accounts Receivable processes.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, strong English, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. A hybrid work model and additional benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related field.
• Experience in Cash Application, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) is an advantage.
• Fluent English and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Allocate incoming payments to customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Investigate and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements with accounting records and ERP systems.
• Analyze payment discrepancies such as short payments, overpayments, and deductions.
• Process remittance advice received via bank, email, or customer portals.
• Identify unidentified receipts and perform customer account matching.
• Collaborate with AR and AP teams to resolve allocation issues.
• Maintain accurate records of cash application activities and supporting documentation.
• Monitor and reduce unapplied cash balances.
• Support month-end closing activities related to cash posting and reconciliation.
