Job summary

Miele is hiring for a senior AR/Order-to-Cash specialist to own global AR processes and harmonize standards across international units. You will drive SAP FI enhancements, collaborate with IT on SAP-based solutions, and support rollouts and migrations with strong governance and documentation.

The role requires deep AR knowledge, SAP Fiori experience, and excellent stakeholder management across Finance, Sales and IT. Based in Poland, it offers a challenging, international finance career.

Responsibilities

• Take global ownership of AR processes within O2C value chain and drive standardization.
• Serve as central SME for international units; resolve AR issues and align with global standards.
• Translate requirements into functional specs and coordinate SAP enhancements through release management.
• Collaborate with IT to develop SAP-based solutions, including system integrations and Fiori apps.
• Lead AR responsibilities in international SAP rollouts and migrations, balancing local needs.
• Help design cross-functional Finance processes and automate payment and bank activities.
• Drive digitalization and automation for payment matching and bank processes.
• Coordinate SIT and UAT; ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Engage with Finance, Sales, Treasury, Controlling, IT and external partners for delivery.
• Establish governance, documentation and knowledge sharing for global AR solutions.

Job description

Your responsibilities:

• take global functional ownership of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) value chain, driving harmonization, standardization and continuous improvement across Miele's international organizations;
• act as a central subject matter expert for international business units, resolving complex AR-related process and system issues and ensuring alignment with global standards;
• analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications and coordinate SAP enhancements from solution design through implementation, testing and release management;
• collaborate with IT and other process owners to develop and optimize SAP-based solutions, including system integrations, Fiori applications and process automation;
• take functional responsibility for AR processes in international SAP rollouts, transformation and migration projects, ensuring consistent implementation while addressing local requirements;
• contribute to the design and improvement of cross-functional Finance processes, including payment management, bank accounting, commission processing and self-billing;
• drive digitalization and automation initiatives, particularly in automated payment matching and bank-related processes, ensuring scalable and sustainable solutions;
• coordinate end-to-end process testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure solutions meet business requirements;
• work closely with international stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Treasury, Controlling and IT, as well as external partners, to support effective project delivery and issue resolution;
• establish and maintain process governance, documentation and knowledge sharing, supporting operational readiness and sustainable adoption of global AR solutions.

Our requirements:

• extensive professional experience in Accounts Receivable, Order-to-Cash processes, SAP Finance or a comparable finance process management role within an international organization;
• deep functional knowledge of SAP FI, including receivables management, incoming payments, payment clearing, bank statement processing, dunning and collections;
• strong understanding of end-to-end Finance processes, accounting principles and integration points between AR, FI/CO, Sales, Treasury and other business functions;
• proven experience in business process design, harmonization and standardization, ideally across multiple countries or SAP system landscapes;
• practical experience in SAP implementations, international rollouts, system migrations or finance transformation projects;
• ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications, collaborate with SAP specialists and manage system enhancements, including testing and release activities;
• understanding of SAP configuration, system integrations and automation; experience with SAP Fiori, automated payment matching or related Finance solutions would be an advantage;
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to identify root causes and develop sustainable process and system improvements;
• excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate international teams, bridge business and technical perspectives and take ownership of complex topics;
• university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience;
• very good English language skills; German language skills would be an advantage.
