AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a mobile test automation engineer to automate a regression suite in Test Rails and extend coverage across iOS and Android. You will focus on replacing manual tests with automated ones, prioritizing tasks to maximize impact. Knowledge of Kotlin and Firebase/Test Lab is valued, with Android tooling like UiAutomator and Robolectric helpful.

This remote role offers flextime and USD-based compensation, with working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.

What you will do

Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;

Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;

Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;

Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);

Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;

Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
