Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in a quantitative or life science field with a strong quantitative component.
  • Around 3+ years of hands-on experience in quantitative analysis of microscopy or biomedical imaging data.
  • Strong Python for the full analysis workflow (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-image, matplotlib/seaborn) and Git.
  • Advanced applied statistics with experimental design, power and sample size reasoning, mixed-effects models.
  • Experience developing and validating a new analysis method, metric, or scoring approach.
  • Understanding of fluorescence and confocal microscopy, 3D image stacks, and image segmentation/feature extraction.

  • Advise on scoping questions: endpoints, sample sizes, and what analysis can/conclude.
  • Apply statistically sound analysis to hierarchically structured data and produce publication-quality figures and client-ready reports.
  • Develop and validate new analysis methods, metrics, and scoring approaches; document them for reuse.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to turn new methods into permanent platform features; mentor analysts on judgment.
