Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Warsaw, Poland, seeks a Senior Manager, Data Science to lead data science and advanced analytics for drug development. You will join the DSAA team to translate complex, multimodal data into testable hypotheses and actionable insights in support of clinical development decisions.

Responsibilities include building reproducible pipelines using Python, R, SQL on cloud platforms, collaborating with statisticians, clinicians, and data engineers, and driving scientific strategy

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a quantitative field or Master's with 3+ years of industry experience.
• Strong experience in data science and statistical analysis with data from clinical trials or EHRs.
• Experience building and validating statistical and ML models on high-dimensional data.
• Experience with AI/ML and proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with statisticians to contribute to SAPs for exploratory data science analyses supporting drug development programs.
• Collaborate with clinicians, translational medicine scientists, biostatisticians, data engineers, and IT/engineering professionals.
• Contribute to team excellence via code reviews, technical mentorship, and strengthening engineering rigor.
• Communicate analytical results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders with strong data visualization skills.
• Manage and coordinate resources to produce quality deliverables within timelines for competing priorities.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across the organization.
