Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb EU Policy seeks a Senior Manager for its Data Science and Advanced Analytics (DSAA) team in Warsaw. You will lead hands‑on analyses across multimodal data from clinical trials, genomics, and imaging to drive actionable insights for drug development.

You will build scalable analytics pipelines using Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms, conveying results clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders while collaborating with statisticians, clinicians, and data engineers.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant quantitative field and 1+ years of academic/industry experience; or Master's Degree and 3+ years of industry experience.
• Strong experience in data science and statistical analysis with data generated from clinical trials or electronic health records, particularly in pharma R&D.
• Experience in developing and validating statistical and machine learning models on high‑dimensional data for time‑to‑event, longitudinal, and multivariate outcomes.
• Experience with AI/ML proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Databricks).
• Familiarity with clinical trial design, drug development processes, and biomarkers in regulatory and clinical decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply computational methods for patient segmentation, biomarker discovery, and hypothesis generation.
• Execute analyses on datasets from clinical trials and real‑world data cohorts.
• Develop data integration, mining, and visualization approaches for high‑dimensional data.
• Formulate, implement, test, and validate predictive models at scale.
