Job summary

The Lemon Consulting is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer – Applied AI Lead to lead end-to-end ML initiatives on-site in Warsaw. You will design, deploy and monitor models, collaborate with data engineering, and drive MLOps practices to scale reliable AI solutions.

The role requires 5–8+ years in production ML, strong Python and Spark, MLflow and CI/CD experience, and proven business impact. Competitive remuneration with travel and accommodation perks is offered.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of production ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Deep ML fundamentals: evaluation, feature engineering, leakage, drift, stability.
• Hands-on Spark / PySpark experience.
• Experience with MLflow or equivalent.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
• Strong SQL for large-scale datasets.
• Proven delivery of production AI/ML with measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and productionise ML models across training, validation, deployment, monitoring and retraining.
• Lead AI use cases including client lifetime value, churn prediction and fraud detection.
• Build robust MLOps pipelines, including deployment, CI/CD and model lifecycle management.
• Implement model monitoring for performance, data drift and business impact.
• Establish retraining and escalation strategies for production models.
• Apply explainability and transparency techniques (SHAP, feature attribution).
• Define governance, documentation, versioning and auditability for models.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on data pipelines and scalable data foundations.
• Partner with Product, Risk and Commercial to translate business problems into AI solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement via monitoring insights and retraining.
