Roche Poland is hiring an AI Data Scientist - Applied AI (Data Scientist) for Roche Digital Technology (RDT). The role centers on building data‑driven solutions and leading projects from inception to deployment in a hybrid work setup with office presence required two days per week.

You will apply SQL, Python and ML techniques, collaborate with business units, and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in independently identifying analytical opportunities, conducting in‑depth data exploration, and owning projects from inception to deployment.
• Proven track record of driving medium‑sized projects that influence business decisions and align with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Leads the development and deployment of models. Works independently on data model application implementation from start to finish
• Identifies and solves intermediate to complex data problems. Validates models and ensures their accuracy and completeness with minimal supervision
• Engages with broader business units to understand and meet data needs. Presents governance analytics findings to diverse stakeholders
• Drives medium-sized projects that align with broader business objectives and strategies
• Handles larger, more complex datasets. Develops and maintains data governance dashboards from scratch and optimizes existing ones
• Applies proficiency in multiple programming languages and ML methods to address business questions
