Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. eMobility is expanding a fast-paced EV charging network across Europe.

We seek a proactive professional to own end-to-end commissioning of EV chargers, validate configurations across CPMS, payments, and connectivity, and ensure sites are production-ready. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors in a dynamic rollout, troubleshoot issues, perform remote checks, and drive process standardization.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in technical operations, EV charging, telecom, or infrastructure deployment.
• Familiar with EV protocols such as OCPP and OCPI.
• Able to work in a high-paced rollout environment with multiple site activations.
• Ability to interpret logs and perform remote testing.
• Strong communication in English and German.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end commissioning of EV chargers into production.
• Act as Control Tower gatekeeper for go-live readiness and quality assurance.
• Validate charger configuration across systems (CPMS, payment, connectivity).
• Perform remote commissioning checks, testing.
• Ensure correct asset configuration and resolve commissioning defects before go-live.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Maintain documentation and status tracking of commissioning activities.
• Support root cause analysis for failed or delayed commissioning cases.
• Contribute to standardization of commissioning processes and playbooks.
• Identify recurring onboarding issues and drive improvements across markets.

Key Responsibilities (EV Commissioning):

• Own and coordinate the end-to-end commissioning process of EV chargers into production
• Act as the Control Tower gatekeeper for go-live readiness and quality assurance
• Validate charger configuration across systems (CPMS, payment, connectivity)
• Perform remote commissioning checks, testing:
• Ensure correct asset configuration
• Identify and resolve commissioning defects before site go-live
• Take ownership of commissioning-related incidents and drive resolution with vendors
• Collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external vendors
• Ensure commissioning is completed in line with SLA and rollout timelines
• Maintain structured documentation and status tracking of all commissioning activities
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) for failed or delayed commissioning cases
• Contribute to standardization of commissioning processes, checklists, and playbooks
• Identify recurring onboarding issues and drive continuous improvement across markets

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has a strong service mindset and interest in technical onboarding and system validation
• Has 2–5+ years of experience in technical operations, EV charging, telecom, or infrastructure deployment
• Is familiar with EV protocols such as OCPP and OCPI (or has strong interest in learning)
• Is comfortable working in a high-paced rollout environment with multiple parallel site activations
• Is structured and detail-oriented, ensuring high quality before go-live
• Is able to prioritize effectively and manage dependencies across multiple stakeholders
• Has experience interpreting logs, performing remote testing, and validating system behavior
• Takes ownership of tasks end-to‑end, ensuring sites are fully operational before handover
• Communicates clearly in English and German and can translate technical findings into actionable insights
• Works independently, analytically, and solution-oriented, with a proactive mindset
