LevelBlue, a Poland-based employer, seeks an Accounts Payable Accountant in Warsaw to manage day-to-day AP duties and report to the Global Accounts Payable Manager. The role emphasizes hands-on involvement, process improvements, and standardized practices.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AP, experience with Netsuite and cloud-based systems, and strong Excel/Word skills, with a proactive, independent mindset and team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AP processes and P2P areas.
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounts payable department.
• Experience transferring processes, documenting and standardizing improvements.
• Experience using cloud-based financial systems—ideally Netsuite.
• Coupa, Stampli and Emburse experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in a fast-paced scale-up environment is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and constructive mindset.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
• Self-driven, proactive and flexible.
• Team player with can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with vendors on resolution of outstanding accounting cases (e.g., rejected invoices).
• Uploading to the system, coding and booking invoices, supporting transactions and resolving issues.
• Daily handling of shared AP mailboxes.
• Following up and resolving open balances and inquiries.
• Reviewing and approving vendor master data changes and employee expense reports.
• Supporting employees from specific locations with accounting/payment issues.
• Performing Month End closing tasks.
• Preparing payment proposals.
• Assume additional responsibilities as needed.

About The Role

The Accounts Payable Accountant will handle day-to-day responsibilities related to the company’s accounts payable functions. This position is located in Warsaw and will report to the Global Accounts Payable Manager in Warsaw.

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated professional, happy to have a hands-on role and you will get involved in a wide range of processes, in order to understand and implement improvements and standardization.

Key tasks for this ambitious and outgoing candidate will include the following, but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with vendors on resolution of outstanding accounting cases (i.e. rejected invoices, statements of accounts)
• Uploading to the system, coding and booking invoices, support transactions and resolve issues
• Daily handling of shared AP mailboxes
• Following up and resolving open balances and inquiries
• Reviewing and approving vendor master data changes and expense reports for employees
• Supporting employees from specific locations within accounting/ payment issues
• Performing Month End closing tasks
• Preparing payment proposals
• Assume additional responsibilities as needed.

About You

• Experience using cloud-based financial systems – ideally Netsuite
• Coupa, Stampli and Emburse experience is an advantage

Education
