Job summary

SearchApi is seeking an engineer obsessed with breaking through anti-bot systems. You will tackle fingerprinting, TLS handshakes, and headless browser evasion, working on a real-time data API used by Fortune 500 customers. We are a bootstrapped and profitable team delivering reliable search data at scale.

Fully remote with equity and profit sharing. You’ll own the output, define projects based on what’s broken and where evasion is needed, collaborating across tooling, networking, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with browser automation tools (Playwright, Puppeteer, or Selenium).
• Understanding browser fingerprinting and evasion techniques.
• Proven track record bypassing major anti-bot systems (e.g., Cloudflare, Akamai, DataDome, PerimeterX).
• Strong network traffic analysis skills (Wireshark, Burp Suite, mitmproxy).

Responsibilities

• Research and implement anti-bot evasion methods.
• Reverse engineer bot detection systems and bypass them.
• Analyze browser fingerprinting and TLS/HTTP protocols.
• Build internal testing tools and document findings.
• Stay ahead of evolving bot-detection tech.
