Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in Kraków is seeking a Front-End Developer to join our Alternatives group. You will implement Angular-based UI features, write tests, and collaborate with backend engineers within a CI/CD pipeline.

You will work in a hybrid setup, three days in the office and two days to support a parent of a child up to 4 years old. This role focuses on building Angular components and delivering high-quality UI solutions within Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Angular (components, services, RxJS; NgRx and Signals a plus)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript solid UI skills
• Familiar with Spring (MVC, Data, Security) or able to collaborate with backend teams
• Basic OOP & design patterns; ORM (JPA/Hibernate)
• Unit testing experience (JUnit/Mockito)
• Familiarity with agGrid, browser APIs, time libraries
• Exposure to cloud & CI/CD (OpenShift preferred; Jenkins/Maven/Gradle)
• Able to read/write SQL

Responsibilities

• Implementing Angular-based UI features to meet designs and acceptance criteria
• Breaking down and estimate tasks from requirements discussions
• Writing unit/integration tests and fix defects found in testing
• Integrating with backend APIs and collaborate on contracts with backend engineers
• Using CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deliver releases
• Supporting and debug production issues, escalating when needed
• Documenting components and API usage (concise READMEs)
• Participating in code reviews and follow team coding standards
• Working in distributed Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban)
