Job summary

Finom seeks a Senior Android Engineer or Tech Lead to join a cross-functional team delivering end-to-end features for business banking, invoicing, and AI-enabled accounting. You’ll shape architecture, enforce high engineering standards, and mentor peers across Backend, QA, Design, and Product.

You’ll own mobile development with Kotlin, modern UI, and integration with Firebase, CI/CD, and secure, scalable architecture. Remote across Europe with strong impact on fintech products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial Android development.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and OOP, SOLID, Clean Architecture.
• Experience with reactive programming: RxJava, Kotlin Coroutines/Flow.
• Dependency injection with Dagger 2, Hilt, or Koin.
• Networking with Retrofit; navigation with Cicerone and Jetpack Navigation Component.
• Modern UI with Jetpack Compose.
• Firebase (FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics) experience.
• Feature-module architecture; GitLab CI/CD familiarity.
• Clear English communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features for Android app used by European business owners.
• Architect reliable, scalable solutions for multi-account cash flow and banking transactions.
• Implement card issuance/management and AI-powered accounting features.
• Build polished UIs with Jetpack Compose and ensure code quality with reviews and tests.
• Collaborate with Backend/QA/Design/Product to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Drive technical decisions within the domain and improve engineering practices.
