Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking a Tech Lead to drive architecture and hands-on development in Kotlin for long-term digital banking solutions. You will lead and mentor engineers, shape system design, and collaborate with stakeholders in a regulated financial services environment. Strong Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, and cloud/CI/CD experience are essential.

The position is remote-first with some travel expectations, offering a leadership path on large-scale fintech platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior/Lead Software Engineer.
• Strong commercial experience with Kotlin is required.
• Previous experience in financial services, banking, fintech or payments is required.
• Strong knowledge of Java / Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Experience with cloud technologies and modern CI/CD practices.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Comfortable working in regulated environments and dealing with non-functional requirements such as scalability, security, availability and performance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Tech Lead – Kotlin | Financial Services | Long-Term Contract

I’m currently looking for an experienced Tech Lead to join a long-term contract with a client operating in the financial services / digital banking space.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, combining architecture, software development, technical decision-making and team leadership.

Key requirements

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior/Lead Software Engineer.
