Job summary

co.brick talents is seeking a Senior Android Audio Platform Engineer to join a team focused on hands-on audio platform development across multiple hardware variants. This remote role offers a flexible B2B contract and requires availability for occasional travel to the US.

You will design, implement, debug, and validate the Android Audio stack, collaborate across hardware and software teams, and drive end-to-end audio integration in embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Proven background in Android platform development and Android Audio framework/architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Audio HAL, C/C++, and Embedded Linux.
• Hands-on expertise in low-level audio technologies (ALSA, drivers, codecs, DSP integration).

Senior Android Audio Platform Engineer

Location: 100% Remote (with occasional travel to the US)

Rate: 130 – 150 PLN/h net + VAT (B2B)

Working Model: B2B contract, flexible working hours

Availability: Immediate / Short notice preferred

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Android Audio Platform Engineer to join a team focused on hands‑on audio platform development, integration, debugging, and validation across multiple hardware variants.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate the Android Audio platform within embedded systems.
• Perform low-level audio debugging and validation on target hardware and test benches.
• Independently resolve complex issues across both software and hardware layers.
• Integrate, optimize, and troubleshoot end-to-end audio pipelines.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven background in Android platform development and Android Audio framework/architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Audio HAL, C/C++, and Embedded Linux.
• Hands‑on expertise in low-level audio technologies (ALSA, drivers, codecs, and DSP integration).
• Solid experience in embedded audio integration and troubleshooting directly on target hardware.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or Automotive Infotainment systems.
• Familiarity with Qualcomm SoC architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with Audio DSPs or AudioWeaver.
• Background in hardware architecture or acoustics.
