Job summary

ZF Group is seeking an Algorithm Engineer-HD Mapping to join our Connectivity and HD Mapping team in Poland. You will design and implement algorithms that convert sensor data from our test fleet into centimeter-accurate 3D maps and collaborate with cloud engineers to deploy these solutions at scale.

The ideal candidate holds a BS/MS in CS/Math/Engineering/Physics, has 3+ years of software development experience, and is fluent in English.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Python skills (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy).
• Solid foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with geometric algorithms, signal processing, or statistical methods.
• Ability to translate research concepts into production code.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement algorithms for spatial data processing and multi-sensor fusion.
• Optimize geometric computations for large-scale map generation pipelines.
• Build production-ready code that processes terabytes of real-world data.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers and ADAS teams to deploy your algorithms at scale.
