Job summary

Guidewire Software seeks a talented technical writer to design structured, reusable content for our cloud products and AI assistants. You will translate developer-speak into user-friendly knowledge, working with cross-functional teams across geographies and continually improving AI-ready content practices.

You will contribute to documentation that supports enterprise software users, analysts, and developers, with opportunities to experiment with new AI workflows and tools in a fast-changing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience creating content for enterprise software applications, with strong writing and communication skills.
• High technical aptitude to understand and document complex solutions.
• Ability to adapt or write code samples to illustrate how a feature works.
• Knowledge of information architecture, metadata, and modular content delivery for web/cloud platforms.
• Experience with AI tools for content development and a willingness to experiment with AI workflows.
• Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback in a distributed global team.

Responsibilities

• Work with developers, product managers, and UX designers to understand products and audiences.
• Plan and design AI-ready information experiences for business and technical users.
• Create and maintain technical content for platforms, services, UIs, and APIs for reuse.
• Model content structures, taxonomies, and metadata to aid discovery.
• Use analytics, logs, and feedback to identify gaps and prioritize improvements.
• Incorporate feedback and continuously improve documentation and AI workflows.
