Job summary

ECCO in Warsaw is seeking a Quality Engineering Lead to drive AI-assisted testing, automation and data-driven quality practices across Digital Commerce teams. You will promote quality as a shared responsibility and shape the future of ECCO's software quality.

You will mentor Quality Engineers, set standards, collaborate with Engineering, Product and Release Management, and lead initiatives to reduce defects and improve test coverage in a fast‑moving, global environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
2+ years in QA Lead, Technical Lead or similar quality engineering role.
Understanding of AI technologies and applying AI in testing or development is a plus.
Experience across multiple software teams in complex environments.
Strong hands-on experience in software testing, automation and QE practices.
Experience defining and driving quality standards, frameworks and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Own and drive adoption of Quality Engineering standards, frameworks and best practices.
Lead and scale AI-assisted QE practices for measurable improvements.
Identify quality gaps and drive improvement initiatives through to implementation.
Drive test automation improvements to reduce manual regression and increase coverage.
Promote quality as a shared responsibility across teams.
Use quality metrics to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
Partner with Release Management to support readiness and risk assessment.
Define effective test strategies, risk-based testing approaches and coverage.
Coach and mentor QE professionals and drive knowledge sharing.
