Job summary

Spyrosoft Ltd is seeking an experienced Cyber Detection & Response Engineering Lead Expert to join the Cybersecurity Detection & Response practice in Poland. You will lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of advanced security monitoring, detection engineering, incident response, and automation across diverse environments.

You will work with clients, delivery teams, and stakeholders to develop scalable SOC capabilities, drive transformations, and implement AI-enabled detection

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Cyber Detection & Response, Security Operations, Incident Response, or related cybersecurity consulting services.
• Hands-on expertise across multiple CDR domains including security monitoring, detection engineering, incident response, automation, governance, and SOC/CSIRT transformation.
• Proven experience leading cybersecurity programs, projects, workstreams, or multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of security operations processes, detection lifecycle management, data management, and incident handling.
• Ability to design end-to-end security solutions aligned with business objectives and cyber risk considerations.
• Practical understanding of applying AI in cybersecurity including governance, validation, and oversight.
• Experience supporting business development activities such as proposals, RFP responses, solution architecture, and client presentations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with executives and technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver solutions across security monitoring, detection engineering, incident response, security operations, and automation.
• Lead complex Cyber Detection & Response engagements and provide technical direction to multidisciplinary teams.
• Assess existing SOC and CSIRT capabilities, identify improvements, and define target operating models and roadmaps.
• Develop and enhance threat detection capabilities through use cases, correlation rules, and response procedures.
• Support deployment, migration, integration, and optimization of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, and log management platforms.
• Apply AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities to improve detection, triage, investigation, and automation with governance and oversight.
• Translate business goals and risks into practical solution architectures and delivery plans.
• Facilitate workshops, technical discussions, and executive presentations for stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and technical coaching to consultants and engineers.
• Contribute to proposals, RFPs, effort estimations, and client-facing design discussions.
• Develop reusable methodologies, frameworks, accelerators, and service offerings for consistent delivery.
