Sopra Steria, based in Katowice, is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to enhance our AI infrastructure. As part of an innovative team, you will manage tasks including automation of deployment pipelines and ensuring model operationalization.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes, along with a good grasp of cloud services like AWS. This role provides a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Advanced (+5 years) experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise (+3 years) in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Good knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning principles.
• Expertise with cloud services like AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Python and familiar with development tools like GIT.
• Familiarity monitoring in CI/CD and structured logging.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Elastic Search.
• Open to occasional business trips and visits to Katowice office.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AI infrastructure for development.
• Automate pipelines for code, data workflows, and model deployment.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes for AI applications.
• Support transition of ML models to production.
• Monitor systems and services for performance and reliability.
• Implement security best practices for infrastructure.
• Standardise environments using Infrastructure as Code.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver AI solutions.
• Contribute to data and model lifecycle governance.
• Troubleshoot incidents and improve operational efficiency.
