Job summary

Allegro in Warsaw is seeking a Data Annotation Project Manager to own end-to-end data annotation pipelines, ensuring high-quality datasets and evaluation benchmarks for AI/ML models. You will coordinate across product, engineering and vendor operations, design taxonomies, manage budgets, and apply GenAI tools to optimize labeling workflows while upholding data governance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing data annotation projects across multiple teams.
• Knowledge of annotation guidelines and quality assurance methods.
• Understanding of ML concepts, tasks and metrics.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent Polish and English communication.
• Proficiency with standard workflow tools like JIRA and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own the annotation pipelines from raw to annotated ground truth datasets.
• Work with data from multiple sources and languages.
• Coordinate with Product Managers and Tech Leaders to gather requirements and allocate resources.
• Prepare and improve guidelines by collecting feedback and analyzing metrics.
• Implement and improve quality assurance processes to balance cost and quality.
• Analyze datasets for quality, biases, and risks when used for ML training.
• Occasionally annotate data and propose new features.
