Job summary

Grid Dynamics seeks a hands-on AI Architect to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade Generative AI systems for Fortune 500 digital transformations. You will bridge AI research and production-grade software, leading technical strategy while building multi-agent systems and advanced RAG architectures on AWS and Azure.

You will guide engineering teams, design scalable data architectures, and deploy models with a focus on security, reliability, and performance across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering or cloud architecture, including 3+ years architecting and delivering AI/ML solutions in production.
• Python expertise with AI/ML libraries, asynchronous programming and API development.
• Multi-cloud AI: deployed AI solutions on Azure and AWS (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, Azure ML).
• Agentic Frameworks: hands-on experience building autonomous multi-agent workflows with OpenAI Agents SDK, Pydantic AI or similar.
• Advanced RAG: designing and deploying RAG systems with vector databases, chunking, and hybrid search.
• Enterprise Data Platforms: expertise with Databricks and Snowflake for AI training and inference context.
• Consulting Mindset: ability to explain complex AI concepts to engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust, scalable, secure Generative AI solutions including production-grade RAG architectures and multi-agent systems.
• Hands-on development: write production-quality Python, build prototypes, contribute to core codebase.
• Design multi-cloud AI infrastructure across AWS and Azure, selecting appropriate services for each solution.
• Architect data pipelines and AI data platforms feeding LLM workflows with Databricks and Snowflake.
• Deploy and optimize open-source and proprietary LLMs.
• Provide technical leadership on AI engineering, MLOps, LLMOps and cloud infrastructure best practices.
