Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking an AI Architect in Katowice with at least 5 years of experience in AI, ML, data science, and solution architecture. The role focuses on designing, governing, and leading enterprise AI solutions leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, MLOps, and cloud services.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineering teams to define AI strategies, architect scalable platforms, and ensure governance and security by design.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in AI, ML, Data Science, or Solution Architecture.
• Proven experience designing enterprise AI solutions and AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of ML, DL, Generative AI, and LLMs.
• Experience architecting end-to-end AI solutions from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, Hugging Face.
• Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms and cloud-native AI services.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, governance, integration, and data quality.
• Experience designing scalable and secure AI architectures following enterprise standards.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

The opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Solution Architecture. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, governing, and leading the implementation of enterprise-grade AI solutions, helping clients unlock value from data and AI technologies.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, engineers, and technology teams to define AI strategies, architect scalable platforms, and deliver innovative solutions leveraging Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, NLP, MLOps, and cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with strategic thinking and can translate complex business challenges into robust AI architectures. Experience with AI governance, trusted AI, cloud-native solutions, data architecture, and enterprise integration patterns will be highly valuable in this role.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Minimum 5 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Solution Architecture.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise AI solutions and AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience architecting end-to-end AI solutions, from data ingestion and model development to deployment and monitoring.
• Knowledge and hands‑on experience with Generative AI frameworks and applications.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, Hugging Face, and related ecosystems.
• Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI systems, vector databases, and modern AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including cloud-native AI services.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture and data engineering principles, including data modeling, governance, integration, and data quality.
• Experience designing scalable and secure AI architectures following enterprise standards and best practices.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience defining AI roadmaps, architecture standards, and governance frameworks for enterprise organizations.
• Apply trusted AI practices to ensure fairness, transparency, accountability, security, and compliance in AI solutions.
• Drive MLOps, LLMOps, and DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, monitoring, and model lifecycle management.
• Utilize tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Azure AI Studio, MLflow, and CI/CD platforms to build and manage AI solutions.
• Design and implement monitoring, observability, logging, and evaluation frameworks to ensure AI system reliability, performance, and responsible operation.
• Collaborate seamlessly with software engineering, cloud, security, and operations teams for efficient AI solution deployment and integration.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and security‑by‑design principles.
• Experience leading technical teams, architecture reviews, and client‑facing AI transformation initiatives.
