Accenture Poland is seeking a skilled Data & AI Governance Specialist to help build governance for modern Data & AI platforms. You will work with international clients and cross-functional teams.

You will translate business needs into practical governance and semantic solutions, contribute to Responsible AI initiatives, and participate in workshops.

The role offers flexible location with remote and on-site work and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern Data Governance and AI Governance.
• Understanding knowledge graphs, ontologies and semantic concepts.
• Knowledge of federated governance, metadata management and data ecosystems.
• Familiarity with semantic layers, glossaries, taxonomies and knowledge modeling.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management in fast-changing orgs.

THE WORK:

• Develop governance approaches for modern Data & AI platforms, including federated governance and metadata management.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to embed governance principles into Data & AI solutions.
• Support the design and implementation of semantic layers, business glossaries, taxonomies, and knowledge models.
• Help define standards that connect business concepts with enterprise data to improve AI understanding and data discoverability.
• Participate in client workshops, governance assessments, and AI governance initiatives, including Responsible AI and Agentic AI.
• Translate business requirements into practical governance and semantic solutions.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely (most of the time), onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. • Understanding of knowledge graphs, ontologies, and semantic concepts in enterprise AI environments.
• Knowledge of federated governance, metadata management, and modern enterprise data ecosystems.
• Familiarity with semantic layers, business glossaries, taxonomies, and knowledge modeling approaches.
• Understanding of cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, BigQuery, or Redshift, and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, alongside a pragmatic and forward-thinking approach to governance in fast-changing organizations.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Familiarity with graph databases and their role in AI and semantic solutions.
• Experience in consulting, solution shaping, or proposal development for Data & AI initiatives.
• Experience with governance and data catalog tools such as Atlan, Collibra, Purview, or Alation.
• Familiarity with semantic technologies, Responsible AI, and enterprise AI Governance frameworks.
