Job summary

KUBO is hiring a Test Automation Engineer to define verification strategies and develop automated tests for web applications. You will work across frontend and backend systems, collaborating with engineering, product and QA teams to improve software quality and reliability.

You will define verification strategies, develop UI and end-to-end tests with Python and Selenium, and participate in CI/CD with Docker-based environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development or test automation.
• Strong Python programming skills and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web applications.
• Solid understanding of testing fundamentals, including test design, test levels, coverage and testability.
• Experience with API testing and writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience with Git, code review workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker-based development environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science or computer science.
• English proficiency and the ability to collaborate with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and document verification strategy including scope, levels, traceability, criteria and risk priorities.
• Develop and maintain automated UI and end-to-end tests using Selenium and Python.
• Perform performance and reliability verification including smoke tests, load checks and resilience tests.
• Investigate, reproduce and triage defects with clear reproduction steps and logs.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers while collaborating with product owners, UX designers and QA.
