Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a procurement leader to guide a team of Material Coordinators, Sourcing Coordinators, and Supply Chain Analysts. You will collaborate with global EMEA suppliers and internal teams while managing escalations and supplier communications.

You will develop procurement procedures, oversee supplier lead-time analysis, and negotiate terms when needed. Building Cross-Cultural relationships and coaching staff are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Min. BSc degree (in Supply chain or Chemistry) or any other field of studies combined with supply chain certifications.
• 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in procurement (aerospace or chemistry preferred).
• Min. 2 years of experience in a leadership position.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• ERP system knowledge (Oracle, QAD or SAP).
• Fluent English required; Polish preferred; French or German a merit.

Job description

• Lead a procurement team including Material Coordinators, Sourcing Coordinators, and Supply Chain Analysts.
• Work with external EMEA suppliers and local Aero EMEA Supply Chain Teams while managing escalations and supplier communications.
• Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development for team members.
• Develop and implement procurement procedures.
• Handle complex procurement escalations and serve as primary supplier contact for critical issues.
• Conduct direct negotiations with suppliers on pricing, terms, and service agreements if needed.
• Oversee analysis and review of supplier lead times to improve procurement planning.

Requirements

• Min. BSc degree (in Supply chain or Chemistry) or any other field of studies combined with supply chain certifications.
• 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in procurement (aerospace or chemistry would be a preference).
• Min. 2 years of experience in a leadership position.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
