Job summary

ZF Group in Poland seeks an ADAS Hardware Engineer to design ECUs for automated driving systems. You will develop schematics, support PCB layout, and create analog/digital hardware for high-performance computing.

The role includes documenting per automotive standards, prototype testing, and deriving hardware solutions from customer requirements, including safety analyses (WCCA). Hybrid work is offered with potential international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of analog, digital and mixed-signal electronics.
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging electronic circuits.
• Experience using lab tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators and network analyzers.
• Familiarity with circuit simulation tools LTSpice or Simetrix.
• English language competency (oral and written).
• Nice to have: automotive background, embedded software development, PCB design process, power supply design.

What you can look forward to as an ADAS Hardware Engineer (f/m/d)

You will be responsible for the electronic design of part of ECU for automated driving systems, which means:

• Development of the schematics and support of PCB Layout creation,
• Development of analog / digital design for High-Performance Computing.
• Preparation and maintenance of documentation in compliance with automotive engineering requirements
• Perform evaluation tests on prototypes and test the design against requirements,
• Analysis of customer requirements and derive appropriate hardware solutions,
• Preparation of safety analysis (WCCA) and release reports.

Your profile as a ADAS Hardware Engineer (f/m/d)

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related,
• Good understanding of analog, digital and mixed-signal electronics designs,
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging electronic circuits,
• Experience in using common lab tools including oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers,
• Experience with circuit simulation tools (LT Spice, Simetrix),
• English language competency - both oral and written,
• Nice to have: Background in the Automotive, experience in embedded software development, knowledge of the PCB design process, understanding of power supply design.
