Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our finance team. You will work with our accounting group to ensure our organization’s spendings are accurate and our accounting practices are standardized across the organization.

You will be responsible for processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations as needed. You will also liaise with suppliers and the supply chain department to maintain strong relationships, support month-end and year-end

Qualifications

• Secondary vocational or higher education in accounting, finance, economics, or equivalent.
• English knowledge at least B1.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Practical knowledge of MS Excel.
• Understanding of accounting processes and tools used.
• Ability to enter data and analyze financial documents.
• Ability to work under time pressure.
• Accuracy in task execution and strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Verification and posting of individual financial transactions
• Compliance with company policies and documented SOX procedures
• Resolving discrepancies by collaborating with business partners and suppliers
• Support for month end and year end closing in the liabilities area
• Identifying areas for process improvement
• Developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and local business units
• Participation in department level projects
• Regular work with reports
