Job summary

LGC Group's Łomianki-based Finance team is seeking an Accounting Specialist on an 18-month fixed-term contract. You will oversee core accounting activities and ensure accurate, compliant financial records while supporting month-end close and statutory reporting.

The role involves managing supplier payments and reconciliations, preparing tax information and financial reports, and collaborating with Sales and other functions to optimise day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Fluent Polish (essential) and good written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of Polish accounting regulations.
• Strong Excel skills with financial data.
• Experience with IFS and/or Symfonia ERP is advantageous.
• Accounting or finance qualifications would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own core accounting activities with accurate, compliant records.

In this role, you'll help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, supporting everything from month-end close and statutory reporting to supplier payments and financial controls. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business while helping us maintain high standards of compliance, governance, and financial performance.

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role
• Fluent Polish (essential) and good written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of Polish accounting regulations
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
• A highly organised and accurate approach, with strong attention to detail
• The ability to manage priorities and work independently while building strong relationships across the business
• Experience with IFS and/or Symfonia ERP systems would be an advantage
• Accounting or finance qualifications would be beneficial
