Job summary

Panasonic Europe B.V. in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Cash and Bank Controller (Treasury Specialist) to manage daily cash, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings.

You will optimize liquidity, prepare cash flow forecasts, maintain SAP S/4HANA master data, and support system migrations in a multinational setting.

Applicants should have a finance degree, 3+ years treasury experience, advanced Excel, SAP S/4HANA, and English at C1.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of treasury/accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and SAP S/4HANA experience.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• Experience in multinational or large-scale organisations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for accurate reporting.
• Complete month-end closing activities per procedures and timelines.
• Monitor cash positions and balance reports across divisions.
• Execute treasury operations including bank transfers and liquidity optimisation.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and hedging/term deposits.
• Manage bank relationships and monitor account movements.
• Oversee payroll and tax payments.
• Maintain SAP Fiori/SAP S/4HANA master data and related postings.
• Participate in system implementations and migrations.
• Review and improve treasury processes with proper controls.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
• Complete month‑end closing activities in accordance with company procedures and agreed timelines.
• Monitor daily cash positions, including account balance control across all business divisions and review of balance reports.
• Execute treasury operations, including bank transfers and cash optimisation activities, ensuring sufficient liquidity for daily operations.
• Prepare cash flow forecasting reports, including hedging and term deposit activities.
• Monitor bank account movements and manage day‑to‑day relationships with banking institutions.
• Oversee payroll‑related payments and tax payments.
• Maintain SAP Fiori (S/4HANA) master data, bank account management, EBS monitoring, bank key creation, TAG 25 (MT940) maintenance, and posting rule configuration.
• Participate in system implementation and migration projects.
• Review, document, and continuously improve processes, ensuring appropriate controls are in place.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar Accounting and Treasury role.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, particularly ISO 20022.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• Experience in multinational or large‑scale organisations.
• Experience with banking platforms and institutions such as Deutsche Bank, Danske Bank, Citibank, CaixaBank, Intesa Sanpaolo, NatWest, BNP Paribas, Novobanco, Société Générale, UniCredit, and others.
