Job summary

Eurofins is seeking an Accountant OtC (Accounts Receivable) in Katowice to join its finance team. This full-time role involves end-to-end OtC processes, AR accounting for group entities, and supporting month-end closings with accurate reconciliations.

The candidate should hold a bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting, have finance experience (BPO/SSC a plus), and be fluent in English. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Experience in finance is an asset, especially in BPO/SSC environments.
• Very good English (written and spoken) required.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end OtC processes including document processing, bank statement booking, cash allocation, and dunning.
• AR accounting for entities under responsibility.
• Consolidate and confirm balances and transactions across group companies.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closings with reconciliations and aging analysis.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and maintain process documentation.
• Prepare audit documentation and participate in process improvement projects.
• Collaborate with other departments and trading partners.

Responsibilities

• Performing the end-to-end OtC processes that may include accounting documents processing, bank statement booking, cash allocation, dunning;
• AR accounting processes for legal entities being under responsibility;
• Consolidation and confirmation of balances and transactions in group companies;
• Monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities including completion of sub-ledger postings, reconciliations, aging analysis, sub-ledger cut-off;
• Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures;
• Creating and updating process documentation;
• Preparation of documentation for audit purposes;
• Participation in projects improvement existing processes;
• Active cooperation with other departments, company units and trading partners;

What are we expecting:

• Education: At least bachelor degree (Finance, Accounting or related);
• Experience: In finance area, within BPO/SSC is an asset
• Languages: Very good English (both writing and speaking);
• Skills: Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel;
• Additional qualities: Diligence, reliability, attention to details andgood organization skills; Energy and drive to succeed
