Job summary

Elsevier is seeking an Academic Success Manager to help higher education partners maximize value from Elsevier content and platforms from a home-based role in Poland. The position requires regular travel (50%) and a driving license, with fluency in French and English to engage with French-speaking customers.

You will deliver training, identify opportunities, onboard institutions, and collaborate with sales and content teams to support adoption and outcomes across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Driving demand for Elsevier e-solutions and content to health education markets in France and French-speaking countries.
• Generating opportunities for e-solutions and collaborating with institutional sales to convert opportunities.
• Identifying key decision makers and positioning solutions appropriately to build advocacy.
• Managing onboarding and implementation of Education e-solutions into institutions, especially faculty, students and librarians.
• Supporting usage through face-to-face and online training sessions to maintain healthy use of e-solutions.
• Scheduling and conducting product presentations.
• Capturing customer feedback and sharing with Content, Marketing, Product and Sales teams.

About the Role

As Academic Success Manager, you will become the trusted advisor for the customer while protecting the revenue base. You will reveal up new opportunities in health workforce education institutions. You will help customers gain value from our content and platforms through delivering engaging training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Driving demand for Elsevier e-solutions and content to the health market in France and selected French-speaking countries;


• Generating opportunities for e-solutions and collaboratively work with institutional sales team to lead to conversions of opportunities;


• Identifying key decision makers and positioning solutions appropriately. Your efforts with faculty will naturally create advocacy for Elsevier, our products, and solutions;


• Managing onboarding and implementation of Education e-solutions into institutions particularly key faculty, students, librarians;


• Supporting usage through face to face and online training sessions to maintain the healthy use of e-solutions.


• Scheduling and conducting product presentations;


• Capturing customer experience feedback and share with Content, Marketing, Product and Sales teams through instructed tools and processes.

Requirements

• Able to work as a team player and to effectively collaborate within a matrix organization;


• Be a great communicator with engaging presentation skills and enthusiasm for sharing your work with a multidisciplinary team;


• Have good experience in a customer-facing role gained in an academic/education, content, or software organization;


• Be able to build rapport & credibility quickly at all levels, with a wide variety of customers and colleagues;


• Demonstrate knowledge of educational institution structures and decision-making processes;


• Demonstrate native or near-native fluency in French and a good command of English, as well as the ability to speak and write in an engaging manner;


• Be open to travel (50%) and have a driving license.

• Base Pay Range: Home Based - Poland zł119,000 - zł220,900.


• Total Target Cash Range: zł136,800 - zł254,000.


• If performed in any following locations: France - A DOMICILE, France - COMMERCIAUX PARIS, France - COMMERCIAUX PROVINCE, France - FORMATEUR PROVINCE, France - ISSY-LES-MOULINEAUX, France - Paris (Rue de Bercy), France - PARIS (RUE DE JAVEL), FRANCE - Tour Vista, Paris, the base pay range is €38,500 - €64,000.


• The total target cash range is €59,100 - €98,400.


• If performed in any of the following locations: Barcelona, Madrid, Home Based - Madrid, Home Based - Barcelona, the base pay range is €36,700 - €61,100.


• The total target cash range is €56,400 - €94,000.


• Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
