What you'll do

• Design and develop solutions in SAP ECC (ABAP/ABAP OO, RFC/BAPI integrations) according to technical concepts, meeting timelines, budget, and quality standards.

• Execute technical deployments (transport management), create and run unit tests, conduct code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with the solution architect to identify technical improvements, report and analyze incidents, and drive root‑cause elimination.

• Build and maintain forms (Adobe Forms, SAPscript/Smartforms) and system extensions (BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements); produce documentation and deliver knowledge transfer.

• Support both project delivery and application operations, including integrations and cloud components (BTP/SAP Cloud, UI5/Fiori/REST), following ITIL processes and adapting to change.

Who you are

• Experienced SAP ABAP Developer (3+ years) with a strong SAP ECC background; proficient in ABAP/ABAP OO and integrations (RFC/BAPI), preferably with FI module exposure.

• Skilled with extensions and forms: BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements, Adobe Forms, plus working knowledge of SAPscript and Smartforms; comfortable applying design patterns and best practices.

• Proven project and application support experience across the full SDLC; familiar with ITIL Service Management and quality‑driven engineering.

• Cloud‑aware: exposure to SAP BTP/SAP Cloud, Web Services/REST, and SAP UI5/Fiori/JavaScript; eager to learn and adopt new technologies.

• University degree in IT/Finance/Engineering; fluent in English (German is a plus); excellent communication and strong analytical skills.
