Mettler-Toledo, Inc. is seeking a Data Governance Solution Specialist to act as a technical expert for designing and implementing processes around customer, sales, and marketing data management.

You will lead implementation, training, documentation, and communication within the Data Governance team to maintain high-quality master data. The role involves SAP ABAP development, SAP MDG, WebDynpro, and HANA work in a global, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' SAP ABAP experience.
• Knowledge of ABAP OO and WebDynpro.
• Fluency in English (C1 level).
• Experience with SAP MDG or Data Governance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing applications using ABAP, SAP MDG, WebDynpro, HANA and related technologies.
• Apply design methodologies; complete configuration, programming; perform tests.
• Participate in workshops to gather requirements and priorities.
• Coordinate tasks, attend meetings, troubleshoot master data issues.
• Provide hypercare and ongoing maintenance for DG systems.
• Own changes end-to-end and ensure proper lifecycle handling.
• Compare SAP MDG vs other offerings and propose best solutions.

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a Data Governance Solution Specialist (all genders) who will serve as a technical expert responsible for designing and implementing processes and solutions related to customer, sales, and marketing data management. The person in this role will be responsible for implementation, training, documentation, and communication of these processes within the Data Governance team, having a direct impact on maintaining high-quality master data at METTLER TOLEDO.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Designing and developing applications using ABAP, SAP MDG, WebDynpro, HANA and other related technologies,
• Applying design methodologies and tool sets; completing configuration and programming; designing and conducting development tests,
• Taking part in the workshops and other meetings to understand the requirements, functional and technical scope of requested changes and the priorities on the business side,
• Coordinating development tasks, attending team meetings, and troubleshooting issues across master data management areas,
• Delivering hypercare and ongoing application maintenance support to users of systems managed by the DG Product Team(s),
• Presenting strong ownership of driven changes, supporting delivery and making sure that change properly goes through its lifecycle,
• Recommending system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of the SAP MDG and other related standard application offerings vs custom development.

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field,
• Minimum of 3 years' SAP ABAP experience,
• Knowledge of ABAP OO, WebDynpro,
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level),
• Strong communication and presentation skills,
• Structured, detailed working methodology; continuous improvement approach and process oriented,
• Likes to work in a Global and fast moving environment,
• Experience in SD/MM, SAP MDG or Data Governance will be additional asset.
